I DIDN'T CRY STORIES:
DREAMING BIG IN HARLEM
"My solo show, I Didn’t ry, is based on the life of my older sister, Santa. As the narrator, I recount how I came to terms with her life's choices and her passing away.
This book is an extension of that play, and my own transformational journey, insights on coping with bereavement, peer pressure, empathy, and personal growth
as I maneuver my way in the streets of
Harlem, New York."

POEMAS DE AMOR LUJURIA
Y DESPEDIDA
by Lucía Benítez, (aka, Lucy La Poeta) Translated by Sergia Starr.
Lucy was a poet, singer and actress but above all, mother and grand/great grandmother. She was born in Puerto Rico and passed away at age 85 in Bronx NY. Sergia Starr, her daughter, decided to share a collection of her many poems.
“These poems are tales of her unforgettable passionate love encounters, unrequited love and prayers. The passionate words describe what we all have once felt or wish to feel. Some memories are sad, and some bring joy and excitement into our hearts. Enjoy the reading and please visit her on Youtube/LucyLaPoeta.."
